Relax on your vacation and enjoy a pleasant time tasting and learning to make delicious Peruvian dishes as well know a little more about the history of cocoa and learn to make your own chocolate bar.
Day 1: COOKING CLASSES IN A RESTAURANT IN THE CENTER OF CUSCO
At 7:40 a.m. we’ll pick up you from your hotel at Cusco Downtown and start our luxury tour walking to restaurant when we meet with our professional chef, after that we go to San Pedro market to buy the ingredients that we will need for our cooking class. After the market, we will head back to the restaurant to start the class. We will prepare Ceviche or Causa Limeña as an entrée, Lomo Saltado as the main course, and Mazamorra morada or arroz con leche for the dessert. At the end of the class, we will learn how to prepare our famous Pisco Sour. Food 100% from Peru.
Then we taste the dishes prepared during the class. After the class transfer to your hotel in the downtown.
Day 2: HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE
At 10:40 am, we will pick you up from your hotel at Cusco Downtown in order to start our luxury tour go to the Chocolate Museum, once there we will start with the class that lasts 2 hours where you will learn to transform the cob cocoa tree into a bar of chocolate. At each stage, you are going to work the cocoa beans for chocolate: Roast, peel and grind it to a paste. After you, make your own chocolate with more than 15 flavors and milk chocolate or bitter. At the end of the class, you’ll can take all those chocolates home.
